The Fastest Way to Save Instagram Kitty Photos Without Taking a Screenshot

Published by

You know how Instagram doesn’t let you save photos directly from the app? Annoying, right? If you’re like me, you probably take a screenshot, painstakingly crop it, then save it. Ain’t nobody got time for dat. Not that we need to fill our phones with even MORE kitty pics, but I discovered a fast and easy way to save other accounts’ Instagram photos to your camera roll using Facebook Messenger. Check it out:

1. Once you've selected an adorable cat photo, tap on the three dots in the top right corner.
2. A menu will pop up with options to share. Tap on "Share to Messenger"
3. Your phone will launch Facebook Messenger. Type or find your own name and tap "SEND" to send the post to yourself.
4. Close, then reopen Messenger and the kitty photo will appear there. Now, simply hold your finger down on the pic and tap "Save" to save the photo to your camera roll.

You’re welcome
