Meet the adoptable kitties of New West!

Published by

Kitten season is just around the corner, which means shelters will soon be brimming with adoptable felines. If you are considering welcoming a new kitty (or two) into your life, now is the purrfect time.

One downside of kitten season is that adult and senior cats are sometimes overlooked. So we’re here to shine a spotlight on these sweet kitties! All of these adorable felines are up for adoption at New Westminster Animal Shelter. If you’re interested in adopting a pet this summer, you can contact New Westminster Animal Shelter or view their current adoptable pets.

Now for some cat pictures (let’s be real, we know that’s what you’re really here for):

Harley

Harley loves a good conversation (he’s a friendly little guy!). He doesn’t mind sharing his space with children or dogs, but would love to be the only cat in his new home. He has an independent streak, but still loves to chat, play, and get love and attention from his humans. Harley is around 3 years old.

Binky

Binky is a total sweetheart. He is still coming out of his shell, but he has shown that he has a lovely and gentle purrsonality. Binky is around 1 year old, and would do well in a home with a friendly resident kitty.

Halo

Halo came to New West Animal Shelter after her owner passed away. It has been a tough adjustment for Halo, and she would do best in a quiet home where she is the only pet. Despite what Halo has been through, she is a loving and affectionate kitty. She is 9 years old, and enjoys naps and cuddles.

Gizmo

Hellooo, handsome! Gizmo is 8 years old and a total looker. Gizmo is a little bit shy at first, but he is friendly once he gets to know you. He is a mellow and sweet cat who would prefer to be the only cat in his new home.

Bandita

Bandita is a big kitty with a big personality. She is a sassy gal who would like to be the only kitty in her new home (purrlease!). Bandita is charming and sensitive, and is just looking for the perfect family who will understand and love her!
