One Box Can Spotlight: Heart and Soul Dog and Cat Rescue Society

For every meowbox sold, meowbox donates a can of cat food, or monetary equivalent to a shelter or rescue. This month, we donated to Heart and Soul Dog and Cat Rescue Society in Abbotsford, British Columbia.

Heart and Soul Dog and Cat Rescue was founded in 2015, by two smaller rescues that joined forces to find homes for unwanted dogs and cats. Located in Abbotsford, BC, their team works to help animals in the Fraser Valley and surrounding areas, focusing on spaying and neutering to minimize the number of street dogs and cats.
Heart and Soul is especially close to our hearts here at meowbox, as we have fostered kittens twice through the shelter. If you follow our social media, you might remember the pair of playful sisters we fostered a few months ago, Olive and Fig:
